Perhaps circumstances and cares of life have overshadowed thereby choking the Word making it unfruitful. Unusually long periods of sorrow and grief, unhealed places of trauma, brokenness, rejection, or simply having uncultivated areas of within our hearts. Any of these can be a potential opening for an evil root of bitterness. These are places where the fountain may spring forth at times with sweet and bitter waters. The Word instructs this thing ought not be.
During this time of spiritual detox willingly open up and invite The Most High to enter into those places to cleanse, purify, bind, and heal by His Word of Truth. This is the only way to rid ourselves of areas of darkness. We are preparing the way to make the tree good, so that its fruit will be good.
May these words encourage you to open up and let His light in, so that you can see light. Come out of gross darkness. This is necessary to sustain the spirit of victory that is being rebuilt in us.
