Is my offering an acceptable delight?
Father, thank you for this time of feasting in Your Presence in this first month. Thank you for the realignment to Your will and purposes for my life that I may walk more intentional in the days ahead. As I proceed further in the days ahead, I ask that You help me to hold fast to those things which You have spoken during this time. As I purposefully hide Your word within my heart, keep me from every presumptuous sin and let not pride gain the upper hand over me. I commit to walk with an uncompromising heart of integrity as I keep my hands clean and my heart pure. In this way, may I be given permission to stand in the place that is holy and converse with You. Therefore, I daily wash my hands in innocence to be allowed to go about Your altar with prayers and thanksgiving. I set no worthless thing before my eyes. I consider every conversation and meditation of my heart. I permit no filthy conversation to proceed from my mouth. I keep myself from vain discussions and confusion.
Father, I thank you for the reminder that the aim of this walk is that love would issue forth from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith. Father, I purpose to consider the blameless way that I may walk in it with integrity of heart. I yield myself to the purifying power and work of the Holy Spirit within my heart allowing the Comforter to shed Your love abroad in my heart for others. So that I may love others earnestly from a pure heart
Holy Spirit convict me of righteousness as You purify my soul and bring me into the obedience of the truth. I yield to this change of heart that my Heavenly Father is requiring within me. Therefore, I intentionally let go of guile, deceit, hypocrisy, disobedience, debauchery, envy, jealousy, evil speech, evil tongue, the spirit of error, and the evil thought, as well as corruptions of the evil thought which attempt to bring about a separation between me and my Heavenly Father. Holy Spirit thank you for suffering long with me in this hour to bring about a perfect work within my heart.
Father, I pray that You would continually find a place of rest within my abode as I allow the truth of Your Word to abide freely within me. Father, I hold fast to Your commandments. I will not forsake the teaching of Wisdom. I intentionally write Your Word upon my heart and wear them as a garland of grace about my neck. When I walk, Your word guides me. When I rest, Your word watches over me. When I awake, Your word speaks to me. Your word is my lamp and Your teaching is my light as I journey in the way to life.
Father, I pray earnestly that You find my walk to be pleasing in Your sight. I pray that You take delight in that which I offer You this year. I ask that You have regard for my offerings.
